How to change a laptop screen cable

I previously told you that in several notebooks ACER image failed cable, and the solution to tighten a connection area did not give permanent results, so fed up with the problem, I asked for a new cable on Ebay. 15 days later reached me:

In this post you will see the steps to change a screen cable (make sure that is the problem before changing it; is not the most common).
This guide will give the necessary guidelines to disarm any screen, since all are constructed in a similar way.

Steps to change the cable

Through a series of photos I hope to clarify the steps (to see if I start to do video tutorials, I have to do me with a good tripod for camera XD, would take me less time and would be more clear to me).
The first thing is to remove the trim plastic, which is where the power buttons and that cover the screen wires connections;

Then we discovered the four caps in the corners in this screen (on screens of other teams may have more screws but the theory is the same), to loosen them and remove the framework:

To remove the front bezel release the microphone cable (pulling the plug but no cables so that it does not break), and also let the one that goes to the webcam:

It has braked stands moored to the casing of the laptop; a screw on top:

And another below on each side that we must release to release the display and gain access to the wiring.

And we let the FAT data cable that you see; all connections going to screen (picture, webcam, microphone, inverter for lamps) are going to that connection. And there are only left us four screws that are holding the LCD screen to the back, two on each side (in the center of the image below):

You must be careful with two wires (black and grey) the right WI-FI ranging from the back of the TFT (which serves as an antenna) to the team; I didn't have to release them, only desamarré them so not to bother me when it comes to fix the laptop.

Once loose 4 screws at the base of the supports we can carefully turn to access the rear part where will the cable Strip.

And to release all the cable and proceed to their replacement us just need to loosen the screw of the investor to gain access to the connector and release it more easily:

The wire is glued 3 points so that it does not move; We took off it and let go, and proceed to paste the new, removing stickers protection, starting with placing the connection of image data to the processor of the screen which is in charge of forming the image:

We stick so that it is as follows:

And we stick the bottom also, so that it is close to stand on that side, as pictured. We also connect to the inverter and moored it on your website.

We shall now proceed to the steps that we have done in the reverse order. Once checked the connections and placing (untied) the display on your website, we can prove it by turning on the laptop:

If the screen is lit, and continues to do so by opening and closing the screen... EUREKA! We already have the laptop like new! Now enjoy it and continue designing boiler firing with sketch up 8 ;)
I hope these guidelines serve to someone else.
